manathawady days...

yes!! ticket is not confirmed...
no problem.. will give some thing to the TTR and arrange a ticket..
We only needed 2 seats.. for amma and achan...

when we started the journey to wayanad, I could'nt even imagine the length of the journey..
it was long and tiring one..

Boarded the Malabar express from kollam.. do not remember the time..
After all this blogging effort is to digitize my memory before it fades away…

Yeah.. there was no seat.. and the TTR was a nice person to let us stay in the sleeper compartment, near to the door.. it was the mail wagon, and there was  some empty space left for the mail sacks..
The travel to kozhikkode was tiring..
first lesson I learnt on degree pursuit.. “proper sleep is essential for an energetic morning”
when we stepped out of the train, people looked at us like “awaaras” who came from an earth quack affected area..

after a local enquiry, we set off to kozhikodu KSRTC station, there, a Kalpatta TT (Town To Town) was awaiting us..
The conductor wanted us to be forward players.. and assured space to play a sevens game near to the driver’s seat..
Least convinced, we moved to the front.. the journey started..
I could feel the engines heat at my feat.. I could only realize that  it was a luxury granted for very few passengers when we started to climb the hairpin bends..
The sudden temperature change will matter for a mallu who has not travelled more…
.................to be continued

How to make Munnar tea.

Preparing a tea is like creating a painting in 5 mins.
Once a tea tester shared the secret of  the perfect tea.

  • For a one person, take one cup of water, make it boil, pour it to a porcelin tea pot with a top.
  • take teadust in a 25paisa coin.
  • put the teadust inside the tea pot with boiled water.
  • close the pot and wait for 4-5 minutes
  • The tea is ready.

You can add sugar to your need.
Squeeze a quarter of lemon if needed.. Enjoy your tea..
